We believe:

  • That the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - created the heavens, the earth, and everything in them - including man - in six literal days.
  • That because of man's fall into sin in the Garden of Eden, creation was corrupted and death entered the world.
  • That God spoke to His people through the Prophets and promised a Savior who would reconcile the world to Him.
  • That God sent that Savior, His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world.
  • That Jesus is both fully Man and fully God and died for the sins of the whole world on the cross.
  • That apart from Christ, there is no hope for redemption or eternal life.
  • That through faith in Christ, we become heirs of eternal life and salvation.
  • That through the water and Word of Holy Baptism, God forgives our sins and grants us life and salvation.
  • That Christ offers us His life-giving Body and Blood in, with, and under the bread and wine of Holy Communion.
  • That Jesus will come again in glory to raise the dead on the Last Day and will judge both the living and the dead.
  • That the Holy Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God and the only rule and norm for faith and life.
  • That the Book of Concord is a faithful exposition of the Eternal Word of God as expressed in the Old and New Testaments.
  • That the Three Ecumenical Creeds - namely, the Apostles', the Nicene, and the Athanasian - are likewise faithful expositions of the Christian faith.
