Discipleship takes a lifetime.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
— Colossians 2:6-7 NIV

In life, we're always moving. We move from high school to college. We move from being students to being teachers. We move away from home and back again. We're children and then parents, parents and then grandparents. Life never stands still.

But the one constant through all of life is Jesus. From your baptism to your deathbed, Jesus claims you as His child and strengthens you as you grow up in Him and become spiritually mature. Saving faith in Christ is a seed in the ground. It needs water and light to take root. And as long as it's being fed, it will never stop growing! Faith is always on the move - looking for ways to love and serve God and His people. You could spend a lifetime reading Scripture for hours every day and still barely scratch the surface. We can't begin to imagine the riches and power and wonder and majesty of our God and His plans for each of us. What a blessing it is that we don't have to wonder or guess about what our God has to say to us - we have His Word!

Here at Immanuel, the learning never stops. We are constantly growing as Christians. We grow by hearing God's Word preached on Sunday, we learn through our Sunday School and confirmation programs and we continue to deepen our knowledge as adults through Bible Studies and small groups.

Whatever your age, life situation, church background, or level of Biblical knowledge, there's a place for you in our education program.
