Rev. Wade Daul, Senior Pastor

Rev. Wade A. Daul was born in Shawano, Wisconsin on January 30, 1967.  He spent his formative years in Green Bay, Wisconsin, being fed and nourished in the faith at Our Saviour Lutheran Church - Green Bay. He has a brother and sister who both still live in the Green Bay area, as well as his parents - Michael and Judy Daul.

He graduated from Preble High School in May of 1985.  He attended Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wisconsin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theological Languages / Pastoral Ministry with a Youth Ministry Minor.  While there, he was instrumental in the formation of the Youth Ministry Teams that carried out lock-ins and training events throughout Southern Wisconsin and involved countless college students.

He continued his education at Concordia Seminary - St. Louis, Missouri and graduated with his Masters of Divinity degree in May of 1993.  His first call was to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont, MN as an Associate Pastor.  In January of 2011, he became the Senior Pastor.  He continues to be blessed in his time of service among the people of Immanuel - Fairmont, having recently celebrated 20 years in the ministry and as Immanuel’s pastor.   His primary responsibilities lie in the areas of Administration, Stewardship, Worship, Parish Fellowship and Public Relations, and the Sr and Jr High Youth Ministry programs.

He also has taught the Senior Religion class at Martin Luther High School for the past 11 years.

Some interesting facts: His favorite color is purple. His favorite food is meatloaf and mashed potatoes. His favorite song (right now) is Whom Shall I Fear (God of the Angel Armies).  He is currently reading the book, "Your Teenager Is Not Crazy". His favorite time of year is autumn (with snow!!).

Rev. Adam Carnehl, Associate Pastor

Rev. Adam E. Carnehl was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1989. He is the third son of Jeff and Janet Carnehl. Jeff is an artist and teacher at Walther Lutheran High School, Melrose Park, IL.  Janet teaches third grade at St Peter Lutheran School, Arlington Heights, IL. Adam attended school at St Peter (K-8) and Palatine High School (9-12).

He met Lisa (nee Greimann) while they were undergraduates at Concordia University Chicago, studying philosophy and education from 2008-2011. They were married on December 18, 2011 and moved to St Louis so Adam could attend Concordia Seminary.  Adam vicared at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles, Missouri, from 2014-2015.  In May 2016, he graduated Concordia Seminary with his Masters of Divinity. Adam and Lisa have just returned from Glasgow, Scotland, where they each pursued Masters degrees from 2016-2017 at the University of Glasgow (founded 1451). Lisa obtained her Master's degree in Education focusing on young adult literature, and Adam obtained his degree in Theology and Religious Studies, completing a thesis on G. K. Chesterton.  

Adam was ordained on August 6, 2017 at his home congregation of St. Peter Lutheran Church - Arlington Heights, IL. Lisa was recently hired as a 6th grade teacher (English literature & Social Studies) at Fairmont Elementary School. The Carnehls love books, board games, disc golf, hiking, barbecuing, and gardening.

Julie has been a fixture at Immanuel for almost 30 years! It is quite evident that she loves her job and the congregation she works for. She has had the privilege of working alongside six of Immanuel's 16 Pastors (current and former). She has one daughter, Jena, and three wonderful grandchildren - Mason, Ashlyn, and Britney.
